I asked Ryan to build something that could be abused on the cyclocross course and on the mountain bike course. The wheel has exceeded my expectations. I've sent it over log drops, down steep, rutted descents, and hammered bumpy fire roads...and that was just on the 'cross bike. After nearly a year, the wheel is true, round, and spinning wonderfully. Ryan took the time to pick a rim that would pull double-duty, spokes that could stand up to the punishment, and took the time to get the wheel built with perfect tension in the spokes.
